Sing Sing 2023
so many emotions. i feel like i haven’t seen a movie that made me feel THAT much in a long time. exactly what movies should be made for, telling the stories of those who cannot share their story on their own, and be able to empathize with others. theater and art is so important for the human soul. what an incredible film!!!

Saturday Night 2024
as a theater kid, this stressed me out a lot. did a good job of conveying that anxiety and chaos before an opening show! also how everything can suddenly go wrong. as crazy as everything is, and how like 50% probably didn’t actually happen in real life, i still believe that something as crazy as the set lighting fire actually happened, because ive been there. i had a set piece nearly fall on me and kill me once. anyways. loved this!!
