  A mind-blowing amount of work went into animating this. Really beautiful and creative craft at work. Slightly less terrifying than the 2005 W&G, but that said, nobody's writing villains colder than Feathers McGraw.

  I can see why this one has been polarizing for friends. Some scenes are intentionally disgusting. I've read some reviews that criticized the film for ableism. Don't think that parody was the film's intent but I can see how it landed that way--especially in early scenes where (IMO) the script struggles to consistently reflect the protagonist's supposedly infantile mind.
