Had to rewatch to cement my feelings towards certain characters, hated vanya, toros and garnik had me dying and Igor was just a smooth mf. I feel like the ending is such a perfect end to the little roller coaster that was most of the movie. The quiet peace I felt as she took one last look out the window with the snow falling had me finally sighing in relief. Igor was right, she really didn’t want to be apart of that family.

I saw my own kitties in our little protagonist so much that I feel like it gave the whole movie a different viewing experience. Haven’t watched nearly as much animated films as I should but thank god to max for popping this one up in my feed. Loved this from that first reflection to the last.
