    Bad day to be a real estate agent at Compass in 19th century Germany…

    Very on theme for Robert Eggers here used a macabre / dark tone to the overall movie (mirroring Dracula). The whole movie carries a trance vibe VERY similar to The Northman.. where you feel like you’re on a trippy experience. The cast is ABSOLUTELY stacked and I was shocked to see Lily Rose Depp break out here.. thought was meh in ‘The Idol’.

    Surprised by how much I liked the film. Haven’t seen many Sean Baker films apart from Red Rocket.. so I know he likes to exude a sex positive image for his movies.
