Ok I usually try and write like an actual review for these but I've just got home from watching TV Glow at the pictures and I'm. What an incredible film. Long slow scenes that let the tension and the awkwardness and the cringe comedy of it all really grow. The isolation and bleakness and how blandly polite everyone except Buscemi and the father in law is feels so claustrophobic. The movie loves to just let scenes run until every single character shows you how fucked up they are just below the veneer. In many ways it feels like hell.
