“One more sound, and you’re dead.”
Phenomenal how this is not just consistently engaging in its thriller aspects but also constantly manages to reinvent its creative concept — Jack’s background in covert wiretap operations, him trying to locate the killer through sound like a bat at the train station, Sally’s final scream. Also just amazingly shot — those split diopter shots and focus pulls are bound to excite any cinephile.
