Nothing overtly wrong with this, but it’s just plain boring. Unrevealing lighting, uninteresting camerawork (nearly every shot also seems to be handheld for some reason?) and an uninspired script (every other line in this is either a philosophical or a religious quote). It’s not a bad story and it does its job as a film adaptation, but that’s about it.
