Leprechaun is back for a gorier sequel to the original film.
It starts out a lot more serious than the earlier films with more gore and a darker tone. But as the movie progresses the slapstick and humor ramps up into pure comedy territory.
It's an entertaining film but it's odd in that it starts out as serious horror film and then halfway through it becomes a horror parody
A surprisingly fun dark comedy. Despite being a Horror film it really isn't very dark. Not many kills, not very violent.
But what it lacks in horror it makes up for with outlandish humor. Think Ernest crossed with Evil Dead
Felix the Cat is whisked away to a strange new world to save a Princess and her kingdom.
What a bizarre film this is. The quality of animation is very poor and the character designs feel odd and out of place with Felix. As child I was impressed by some of the inventive gadgets displayed and the powers of Felix' magic bag, but the whole story is just very strange. There's no cohesion to the plot, things just sort of happen without much reason and then it just sort of ends before it really felt like it got going.
This really surpassed my expectations. I was expecting a trashy action film, but it has a surprising heartfelt story.
The humour was a nice touch. It kept the mood lively and never went overboard. This is just a great all around film. I'm surprised I've never heard of it before
