  I’m still mad I didn’t watch this in theaters, that would have been a great experience. I also hope this underperforming at the box office won’t affect Chazelle’s budget for his next movie, though I doubt it will, due to his talent and acclaim. I think this is my favorite Margot Robbie performance, she’s just so good in it. A shame she didn’t get nominated for this role

  I really need as many more Damien Chazelle movies as possible in my life. He’s just so good, and everything he does is so entertaining and well crafted. I’m still kind of surprised how under the radar this movie seems to be, especially compared to his other works.

  The Substance 2024

  I’d really been putting this one off, a bit afraid to watch it, as I’m really not a fan of body horror all that much. I should’ve just listened to myself. I mean, it’s good, and Demi Moore certainly has some good moments, but it’s just a bit much for me. Well made and impressive visual effects, though.
