  Not a typical movie, it has around 120 lines of dialogue in total. Mikkelsen is great as always and Refn gives his best. There is a scene on a boat he made with trashbags as the sea, and it blows my mind. It is not an easy movie but it is very thoughprovoking, and can be interpreted in many ways and that is one of its strenghts, but still not a easy watch.

  The Monkey 2025

  I loved Stephen King's short story The Monkey, and i had high hopes for this one after Perkins Longlegs, which was far from perfect, but well made and creepy with just a last part that did not really stick the landing. This movie is a disaster. Brought as a sort of comedy thats almost at the level of Scary Movie and its sequels. Its so unfunny its rather painfull, and it gets worse and worse as the movie progresses. The audience was disasterous as well, walking in and out, talking, on their phones. It was just a terrible experience all together. Yikes.
