Matt and Mara 2024
in art school I had a friend who I hung out with all the time. We started a band together and went out to eat together and she’d cycle us places on the back of her bike. Teachers would ask one of us about the other if we happened to show up to class alone.
For a small amount of time we were glued together by our love for burgers and wanting to be something. I don’t see her much anymore, but I talk to myself like we still hang out. Matt and Mara feels like that.
