  back in 2014, when this movie came out, my music theory teacher and orchestra conductor said this movie was dumb as fuck. i can see why he said that: playing fast isn’t playing good, and saying that those are the same is a stupid ass take from someone who doesn’t understand music at all. that being said, shit. this is fully a horror movie. take your meds before watching it. if you are a musician yourself, prepare to have your day ruined. i hated it. 5 stars. recommend.

  a tv show about grief, about being a late bloomer, about being lonely and lost in the world, about drag queen guardian angels, still being a baby queer in your late twenties, about self-destruction and how it also hurts the ones around you, being friends with old ladies and the power of a dog. made me sob and rethink my life. so, a win in my book

  i didn’t expect much of this film, but it was so charming and fun ! a wonderful cast of secondary characters and a protagonist that might be my favorite role of scarlett johansson’s. woody harrelson plays a great villain, jim rash is fucking hysterical as always and, as a loyal dropout girlie, i literally squealed when i saw anna garcia. i hope some gives mischief a medal
