“now he always leaves a note whenever he goes anywhere alone.” the simplest act that could’ve saved him. the smallest things that matter the most and that we take for granted in our every day lives. 127 hours surprised me for its delicate way of telling us to tell people we love that we love them because tomorrow is uncertain and we never know if we get stuck, mentally or physically.

i have always had a passion for space and this movie just made me bawl my eyes out.
the last scene of Ad Astra hit me hard because by finding the closure he needed and letting his father go, Roy will not end up like him just like he feared he would. “i am focused on the essentials, to the exclusion of all else. i’m unsure of the future but i’m not concerned. i will rely on those closest to me, and i will share their burdens, as they share mine. i will live and love.”
