Don’t think that it’s written particularly well and some of the lines definitely fall flat when delivered. Also a weird story to focus on, feel like you don’t even get an understanding of how we got to this point. Overall a pretty predictable movie.

Only 4 ways out of Nickel. A movie that was something I had never seen before. The editing and photography are extraordinary. Ending was a very chilling way to end a heavy movie.

Shoutout Brian for recommending this. Idk where this film has been and why it has not found its way to me sooner. Thought there was so many incredible moments in this film that stick out as being extremely thought provoking. Especially the ending scene and how Linklater pieced it together. Eager to watch the sequel.

Buhl in there Murray is hilarious without trying. Scarlett’s voice is incredible. At the core of the movie it’s just a 20 year old girl who married too early with a rich 50 year old on a midlife crisis. Title is very suiting for the theme of the movie. Movie definitely makes you think about the connections of have with people you meet. Ending is very perplexing, don’t exactly know how I feel.
