The Man from Snowy River 1982
Maybe it’s just because it’s an older movie, but I really didn’t think it was well done. For example, a lot of poor cuts that seemed more so just bad editing and less intentional than quick cuts to portray or exude emotion and other feelings.
If it didn’t have great acting from Harrison and Spur, I would’ve paid zero attention throughout the movie. The man from snowy river, the person and the film, did pick up at the end, but…

First of all, can’t believe it took me 23 years to watch this movie. Secondly, I did watch this quite high so that may impact my rating.
An insane story and idea, honestly in love with it. My only knock is sometimes it was hard to follow (again, I was high), and the few instances when it’s not believable that fake Tyler was doing stuff to real Tyler. Like pulling him out from underneath the car and dragging him through the parking garage. Will watch again not high and come back to write a more thoughtful review.
