As someone that really likes war films and WW2 especially, this movie ticks all the boxes. It might not be the most impactful war film (Come and See takes that) but I can watch this movie over and over and over again. The direction and authenticity, the fleshed out characters with there being so many, the Omaha Beach scene, the cinematography, the sound and much more.

The best musical that I’ve seen, not usually being one for musicals too. With an amazing score (city of stars) and out of this world set pieces and single-takes that are seemingly impossible to film, it’s pretty amazing in every way. The use of colours, sound and choreography is just incredible. The story and ending too. The opening scene might be the best opening scene ever. GLENN HOWERTON. What a hidden gem that not many people have seen. It’s an inspiring, at least the first half was, funny Canadian film that needs to be watched. The meeting scene pitch scene when Jay Baruchel walks in is so so good and inspiring, what a moment. It has just the right amount of 2000s and 90s nostalgia with retro vibes. Glenn Howerton is a genius actor, what a freaking performance and role. Mike’s character development from a shy…

THIS is why watching movies in theatres are so important. There was Incredible action, the car chase scene was so so so good. The revenge scene is one of the most satisfying that I’ve seen. There’s not a lot of dialogue for Furiosa, but that makes it better. It’s so good at visual storytelling. The arm scene was so unexpected too. Cinematography was beautiful. The cgi was a bit noticeable and probably the only weak point of the movie, some of them were quite subpar. This is a rare prequel that actually enhances the original.
