What everyone has been waiting for! 🫡

ABSTRACT: It's 2022. We're two years past the rise of the COVID-19 virus when Asian hate crimes and police brutality against BIPOC communities were at a historic high. Which led to a divisive presidential election, an attempted coup, and the stripping of women's reproductive rights. Life was and still is **chaos**. For a young adult, it felt like all sense of political and moral rationality was thrown out of the window. Life did…

'If I die, get my wife and son out - Jim
'If I die, learn how to shave and cut hair' - Cyclone

I LOVE this film. This was the perfect flight watch for me. My only strife with the film is the main villain randomly having spirit powers that make him practically invincible. Other than that, it is an amazing love letter to classic Hong Kong films. Seeing the tightknit community within the Kowloon city walls is so heartwarming. The main villain really is just a stupid, fun villain and economic greed.

‘Stop that stunning sister!’ - Security Guard Barry

This was an incredibly sweet treat to watch with friends after being pissy all day. Paddington just makes you a better person and that’s why he’s the best representation of Peruvians 🇵🇪🫶

Amazing! Funny! Depressing! Ugh cinema!! This was an amazing film by Jesse Eisenberg that goes into such details like genocide, generational trauma, and Jesse Eisenberg’s feet(?) Kieran does an amazing job being a maelstrom of chaotic humor and grief while Jesse showcases the difficulties that one takes on by withholding that trauma. Furthermore, I want to highlight the beautiful shots of Poland and its architecture. Give me…

Frodo: Go back, Sam. I'm going to Mordor alone.
Sam: Of course you are. And I'm coming with you.

The completion of my “geek-dom” is slowly rounding out now. Once I’ve experienced all of the LOTR the only piece I will be missing will be Star Trek. Only then can I hold claim to the title of “the one true Geek”.
