  i was a little tired going into this one and was nervous… but this film grabbed me like no other has in a while. the first 20-30 min was so lovely, which made the rest of the film and the looming despair, anxiety, etc. so powerful. will be thinking about this for a while.

  the fact that the Prince estate didn’t permit the use of Nothing Compares 2 U 👁👄👁

  i wish they went a little more into current day. they just kinda…… stopped at 1992 and then fast forwarded to present day within 10 minutes. felt strange - and im really intrigued by what happened in the last 30 years beyond the 10 second flash of 2 sentences saying she made music since.
