The Not Movie Part Is Great:

Had dinner at our friends, they suggested we watch Memento when I said I hadn't seen it.

Food was great. Potatoes made in duck fat is the way to make them.

Movie was fine. Story was engaging.

Acting was good. Felt like a Matrix reunion.

I love everything about the editing. It's so creative. Worth watching for that aspect alone. It really highlighted story reveals by way of withholding information in a reverse spoiler…

    New Favorite?:

saw this at 11am on a beautiful 80° day. Needed that after this. This was a grueling watch.

The performances sell the era right down to their mannerisms. Not…

    Worst Vacation Ever:

lets get the gimmicky talk out of the way. the bear scene. honestly, not that bad. yes, super gnarly, but theres a bear scene in 2014's "backcountry", absolutely ruthless. nothing will top the besr scene in that movie.

now, the movie itself, its really good!

-story is nowhere near as bad as i was preparing myself for. yes, it's not your traditional story. but it has an inspiring message on human resilience, is effective at what it…
