    Too cutesy, soft and especially british for my taste. I get that it's an adaptation of memoir and therefore we are automatically stuck with third party perspective than to actually focuss on Monroe's side, but they could at least make the main protagonist somewhat interesting, than that mushy, juvenile, horny, spoiled rich brat. It partially succeeds to depict iconism of Monroe's role in popculture and film industry, but fails to actually show her emotions, real struggles and backstory. Michelle Williams…

    Starts slow and as a thorough, but typical crime thriller, reasonably revealing the plot points one by one. However the longer it lasts, the more it becomes engaging, with especially genius following the suspect and car chases scenes. The ending is also remarkable: fulfilling but really bleak, open to interpretation and making you disappointed in the whole justice system. Fantastic performance by Hackman.
