Very solid courtroom drama. I don't know what to say about it, except it was a very suspenseful and engaging movie. It fits the genre very well. I love Toni Collette, obviously, and Nicholas Holt and Zoey Deutch were also excellent. I like that we never quite know what happens in the end. I wish there was a bit more of a twist, but I like that the ending is left a little bit ambiguous.

Didn’t love it. I could see potential in the story, but I didn’t feel like I got to know any of the characters as well enough to really sympathize with them. I loved this! It had that slightly predictable, inspirational sports movie feel, but it was also something I hadn't seen before. Bening and Foster were perfect for their roles and had great chemistry as best friends. There was some really funny dialogue as well. Seeing an older woman accomplish something that went against all odds was amazing.

A heartfelt and heart wrenching movie. Lou Diamond Phillips' charming and charismatic performance makes the ending that much harder to watch. Hard to believe Ritchie Valens was just a poor Hispanic kid before he made it big. This movie shows that it's not how much time you have but what you do with what you are given. I love that Valens chose to use his talent to spread love and look out for his family.
