  this was extremely impressive and very well deserving of its oscar…. i really liked how the animals werent too too anthropomorphised

  woowwww fuck i loved this so much. so real so poignant and so visceral. my favourite sequence was the still shots of lublin, there was so much history hidden between the cracks
  i also feel like a lot of movies and stories about jewish history focus too much on suffering. the way i saw it, this movie was about perseverance and appreciation of jewish culture & history despite pain, which was refreshing to watch
