Malignant 2021
This is like..3 different movies in one, and so bizarre. The acting is horrid and the plot cliché and all over the place- but it’s entertaining af.
There’s fake law and order detective, Walmart brand Wanda Sykes officer and a Sandra bullock lookalike.
The cool parts about this movie are the perspective camera changes and surreal shadowy moments of the killer.
I figured out the entire plot within a third of the movie but I actually enjoyed the comical kind of goose chase with the bogeyman.Gangly babadook no face cryptids ftw.

Honestly, what was even the plot of this movie?
I feel like we got information that was mentioned several times in earnest- some big illegal secret that took up the majority of the conversations between Lucy Liu and her average ass husband.. but nothing progressed out of it.I didn’t like the fact that it was so choppy in footage/scenes, and that the paranormal aspect seemed tired. There were no jump scares, no apparitions, no disembodied voices- just banging. Idk…

Godkiller: Walk Among Us 2010
Cool concept and character designs but the plot becomes muddy towards the crescendo of the film. Dialogue is very eloquent when it isn’t completely swears (which is more than half the time)
Interesting animation style and I’m still on the fence on whether or not I liked it because it was hard to follow sometimes. lots of triggering topics and events in this one..meh I wouldn’t rewatch or recommend this to anyone tbh.
