Ferrari 2023
Every part of this film was mediocre. From the cinematography to the editing to the script to the production design. This powerful part history had so much to give and what it gave on screen was NOTHING. Where were the WELL EXECUTED fast car commercialized edits when need be? Where were the strong DRAMAtized familial outtakes. Ferraris first kids illness, the beginnings of his relationships on screen, etc - all could’ve been transformative. The missing intimate reactions of Portago’s LOVER, family, friends, and or colleagues. The aftermath of conflict and resolution. Where’s the juice in this film? Ferrari, you are dull. Very very dull.
