Tijuana Jackson: Purpose Over Prison 2020
at first i couldn’t tell if it was a comedy, not because it wasn’t funny, but because its hard to laugh at a black person when they’re down. very funny and amazing ending. i often thought about the creativity it took to even think of this plot line— great movie.

i don’t know how anyone could dislike this film. everything went full circle. in the beginning it’s all very strange but still acceptable, no suspended belief. love bombing is real so i could definitely see that happening. from “red rabbit”, to “what are we running from” idk i just liked it all. amazing ending

such a good film. the filmography was amazing, special effects felt advanced for the time, and everything made sense. especially loved the musical aspects of it. powerful themes of community and protection. overall the film is nostalgic for me and rewatching did not disappoint

5/5 movie, no holes, animation was surprisingly terrible but didn’t take away from the comedy and plot. if i was a kid i’m not sure that i’d be able to follow considering how many cutaways there were— good thing i'm not!
