There were too many action sequences in the movie.
Apart from Denzel Washington, the other leads were quite stoic and lacked charisma.
A better script would have created more interesting characters, making us genuinely care about them.

I think the sound editing of this movie will haunt for me for a while. There’s an element of absurdity and horror that comes with the “normal” family depicted in this movie, and it is very, very effective. It also comes with the most depressing ending I’ve seen in a while.
