renaissance paintings captured in motion for every single still. imagery so god damn good it smites the movie universe with such a baller ego. i think i read in an article that stanley kubrick actually hired leonardo da vinci as a cinematographer. maybe it was van gogh pre-earslice? not so sure… anyways, the point i’m trying to make is that this movie looks so god damn handsome. it’s like when you show up to grandmas house for the first time…
