  See now I’ve been to Indiana, it’s a godforsaken ugly ass state I do not wish to revisit. But the opening establishing shots had me yearning for its autumn landscapes. This movie understands the mythology that all sports storylines must convey. I mean a mute hick who can’t miss but refuses to play due to the unforeseen death of a former coach that’s fucken gold. A feverish town whose lives revolve around ball and ball only that’s gold!! Movie loses…
