I was hoping for either a decent prequel to Rosemary's Baby OR a solid sophomore effort from Natalie Erika James. Sadly, this is neither.
Still compiling my thoughts on this one. But I know three things for sure: 1) I need to see more of Assayas' work; 2) Stewart has become one of America's finest young working Actors 3) delivering one of the finest, most vulnerable performances of the year.
Memorable quote: ‘What I clearly understood was that our prison system is nothing more than slavery. And I see myself as an abolitionist.’
