Civil War 2024
This was actually more interesting than I thought it was going to be. The characters were fascinating, and I loved the idea of telling this story through the perspective of weary journalists. I thought that was an interesting twist.
Seemed like it could be an actual outcome of what our society might become, and a frightening prophecy of a very possible future.

Blink Twice 2024
I love that horror has veered in the direction of social justice. Good horror now seeks to show us that the only ones we really need to be scared of is...well...ourselves. Mankind -- or, in this case, literal men -- is the most frightening monster of all. This movie darkly humorizes the "nice guy" trope. It's a great blend of cheeky humor and a woman's most frought nightmare.
