  i know i've 100% seen this before but that was over a decade ago and turns out i barely remembered anything
  not that there was that much to remember, though

  a couple choices are more interesting than this typically gets credit for - mostly when it leans into the cheap and stylized look - i actually love the turqoise-orange contrast in some of the scenes at night

  but for most of the runtime this stays quite surface-level and unsatisfying
