Oh Luca why do you always do this to me??? How can you always leave me speechless and heartbroken??
I just cannot find the words to describe this, Luca is just perfect at embodying the deep yearning for someone’s love and attention to the point of reaching a desperate desire to merge with them completely.
The raw energy of Queer is intoxicating, truly it was a mental trip and I loved every second of it.
I get that the movie wanted to talk about the difficulties of love and the various shades of emotions that it entails and it did just that very clearly but the sex scenes ruined everything, they were so long and unnecessary clearly made for the male gaze…
The scene of the birthday party with the music hit me right in the stomach with a wave of nostalgia like crazy
Long story short it should have been directed by a woman and not by a creep
I have mixed feelings about this movie…
It depicts perfectly the constant fear of waiting for that day where the truth reveals itself and ruins your whole existence
BUT it’s very disappointing it keeps you hooked waiting and waiting for that moment and the moment never comes and it’s frustrating,I feel like it could have been more than this
The symbolisms, the music and the cinematography are beautifully done tho
