  Believe it or not, Dora’s debut is much more understated than people seem to think or describe. There are putrid visuals, insects that crawl and dangle from corners of rooms with faded paint, there is what seems to be a sickening mist that consistently lingers in every interior setting. There are also scenes of superbly realistic mutilation, castration, dismemberment, and fluid-spewing mayhem. Yet through all of Cannibal’s extremities, none of the scenes you watch feel like they contain any amount…
