The King of Comedy 1982
This movie seems to have aged to perfection because we’re currently living in the boom-time for par-asocial relationships and infamous memes turned into lucrative cash grabs. I read that Martin Scorcese regretted making this movie but, Martin could never have stopped the entitled wave of narcissistic ego-maniacs that would be produced in the millennial and Gen-Z eras and the King of Comedy may ring even more true than it did 40 some years ago.
