Hey ya know what, this was FUN. Light, funny, strong craft, classic comic book feel, and direct theming, Superman feels intentional and fresh for DC. This is how you make relevant serious material feel natural to a comic book story.

Like with all comic book faire, there are dramatic scenes that feel a little cheap and forced but they’re few and far between.

Pretty entertaining if you look at it as a melodrama with some tongue in cheek to it. However I don’t think that was Fuqua or Ayers’ intention.
