    Cool Hand Luke

    ★★★★

Cool Hand Luke is a very exciting yet relaxing film. It has some dull moments but you are typically left asking yourself "why," sparking the viewers' interest. The numerous side plots in the theme make this movie one of the most iconic movies of the '60s. Paul Newman does a terrific job as his character perfectly captures the rebellious spirit of the time. The film also gave insight into what prisons, in the south, during the time, were like.
