i wish i asked my mom what little her wanted to be when she grows up or what her favorites were as a child. it will never fail to make me cry that she will now and always will be a mystery to me, just like when i was 12 years old.
movies like petite maman and about time make me envious of how in these heartfelt and precious fantasy films, they still had that one small moment to go back to before they say goodbye forever while i am just here, wondering.
