  the black and white stuff is amazing. I will say though, I was getting pretty bored until Willem Dafoe showed up, but then I got kinda bored again. This just had like, absolutely no momentum to me. I’m also kinda convinced my theater wasn’t showing this in the right aspect ratio, because an incredible amount of the shots barely cut off feet, heads, hands, shoulders, tops of signs and buildings, just very off from how immaculately framed his stuff usually is.

  Yeah, some of the dialogue and a few short scenes are kinda “bad”, but I loved this. Shot by Robby Muller?? Harry Dean Stanton is so good??
