Barbie 2023
This was an enjoyable movie. It was made for the millennial crowd it seemed, as the joke’s were not as “hidden” as other movies. Ken was my favorite part, and I found the whole patriarchy angle quite amusing. The movie aimed to poke fun of agendas on both sides of hypermasculinity and hyperfemininity, and how there needs to be a balance of the two.

The Incredibles 2004
I watched this movie a lot as a kid. I wanted to be Dash so bad, and when this movie came out, we were the same age. But this movie seemed to get better with time, as the adult jokes are hysterical, the plot is much darker, and are really torn on the villain. This is both Disney and Pixar’s bar, and it’ll be a long time before something surpasses it
