  What a divisive film this has become right?

  My thoughts on Halloween Ends:

  David Gordon Green and his team deserve kudos for taking this series in a familiar and yet different direction. I cannot discuss my thoughts without possibly ruining this experience so look away as Chicago once sang so lovingly.

  First things first...

  Thankfully we still have film makers like Baz Luhrmann, who is all over this film in a personal and almost visceral way. I was so happy it felt more like an interpretation of American myth than a biopic.

  Second:

  The performances are amazing, all of them I think. Butler deserves all the credit he has been getting here. Tom Hanks has taken the brunt of the criticism but folks arent seeing what Luhrmann and Hanks are going…
