The score never stopped buzzing and one of the opening shots didn’t break for at least 8 minutes and that’s the kind of anxiety I’d hope to feel in a movie like this. Really wanted to love it more. Self aware therapy session about self awareness. For Netflix! Love Jonah Hill and it was cool to hear from him in this way.
Even though they broke the 4th wall and let us in on the process, it didn’t always land for me. I was mostly comparing Stutz to my own therapist and wondering if I should be taking notes for both my own sessions and this film. I should probably watch it again and journal afterwards or something
