The lighting was Wicked-levels terrible but I deeply related to George constantly picking up after others

A 2:00 movie with the content of a 2:45 movie and the tightness of a 1:30 movie. We've lost the recipe.

The only mention of Dreyfus being Jewish was visually, on the army register. Perhaps this was a directorial decision to say "Yes, this was an antisemitic affair, but it was also an affront to general justice" or something like that. Would I have made that decision? Probably not.

UPDATE: have now learned this was out of cowardice. Yikes.

Between this and Anatomy of a Fall, I am led to believe that every French courtroom is pure chaos.

    See you tomorrow.

This disassociation we all do with sports (and entertainment) on a daily basis truly is remarkable. To me, this is a Sports Movie. It's also hard to think of a more appropriate time for this movie to hit theaters. Really an incredible script and screenplay. Wonderful acting, especially from John Magaro (buy stock now!) and Ben Chaplin. If this movie upsets you because Palestinian terrorists that murdered innocent Israeli athletes are correctly called "terrorists", get a grip…
