The first hour of this movie gave me hope that it had something to say. I thought it was about an artists relationship to their art. Who do they make it for? Themselves? An audience? Or because they simply must make art? I thought that the "twist" would simply be that this cult was actually amazing at allowing people to make good art and Ayo would simply end up staying there.
