I’m still stunned at this weird piece of propaganda love. I hate myself for it, but I actually can’t ever fully dislike a rom com, so I give it some credit. But nah, the whole “trying to manage my medical debt by marrying into the military” thing is not my vibe

The Gray Man 2022
I personally believe you can’t go wrong with these types of movies. I enjoyed it, not too bad!

Motherless Brooklyn 2019
One of my favorites of the year. A perfect depiction of what I imagine 1950’s New York was like. A good mix of crime and mystery with the old voice-over style, which I loved.
Edward Norton brilliantly acted, wrote, and directed this film (what can this man not do?!). I was completely convinced of his Tourette’s Syndrome, amazing. It was a little long (2.5 hours), but I was drawn into the story. A definite must-see!

Where'd You Go, Bernadette 2019
I really enjoyed Where’d You Go Bernadette. It has the same essence of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty - this call to live meaningful lives. It spoke to my inner rush to always be neck deep in a project. I thought Cate Blanchett absolutely sold the performance. I was pulled into the character so easily. I have heard from friends who have read the book that there was much to be desired, but as someone who was seeing it with fresh eyes - loved it!
