  I’ve sat on this one for a while. I watched the movie and although it was beautiful, and the music was amazing, I just didn’t care for it. Maddy’s monologue made me roll my eyes bc I thought it was just so pretentious and annoying. The movie ended and I wondered to myself why the fuck everyone loved this movie so much.

  Okay first of all, this movie did not have to be this long. 
  But besides that, I enjoyed the effects a LOT. The cenobites looked sick (tho obviously I enjoyed the og looks more), and I enjoyed this story a lot more than the og one. 
  Good movie, just gotdamn I was antsy for it to be over
