  Caught this on the IMAX restoration (3rd watch). Man I love this movie, I could write a 10-page essay about Ashitaka. This whole film resonates with me on a spiritual level, in a way words can't describe. Gorgeous

  “I think you can see too far. I look out there and…then I can’t see the potato I’m planting. And after a bit, it doesn’t seem to matter whether I plant it or not.”

  I watched this movie cuz of a Westside Gunn lyric. Turns out it's actually good, an interesting exploration of Christian ethics and naive imperialism that is shot beautifully. The Holy Man is literally me.
