So basically, this movie gave me a depressing and helpless perspective of what it was like to be a citizen in Gwangju, Korea, during the 1980 martial law movement. The Gwangju government was on some demon time the whole movie, just shooting anything that moved. It made me feel a deep sense of sorrow for the real-life people who went through this. Chun Doo-hwan, the leader of Gwangju at the time, did everything in his power to silence the people…
