It feels transcendental and human. But, as a film, it lacks of a more profound exploration of trauma, fear and violence in the main character. The main character serves the story and, overall, he serves the core of the tale. But it would be awesome to see more faces of the main character. Maybe it is also because of the limited performance of the main actor, but that character had more potential.

Nevertheless, it is a film that makes you think about the sense of living in a world full of suffering and rage.

In one hand, it is critical with the social and emotional limitations of women in that specific time and place. In the other hand, it is a beautiful story about admiration, possession of the other, and the fascination towards others when getting to know them.

Making a portrait of someone implies getting to know deeply about that person. And how easy it is to love, and specially, to desire something we get to know so well.

    The photography is AMAZING.…

Besides being cliché and ridiculous at times, it has somewhat a powerful discourse about fear, faith and insanity.

Fear to the unknown is always worst than the actual unknown we are being feard of. Being afraid makes us violent, irrational and, overall, selfish. And that’s what this films showed us, sometimes quite literally, and sometimes greatly, as with that amazing ending. Wow, the ending is just heartbreaking and surprising.

Maybe the move thought poorly of the audience and the dialogues showed too much, but it is really a good adaptation.

This film is a f*cking chaos all the time. But it is also funny, bizarre and frenetic as hell.

It is what a trip of LSD would do to an absolute nerd and friky mind.

It is awfully written, but quite entertaining and fun to see with friends. And that’s about it…
