  yikes! just … everything, yikes!

  lots of pretty knitted sweaters in this one & the first confessional scene made me cry laughing! i didn’t understand the appeal of barry keoghan before but i think i do now, he was very good

  i really liked this one! i do think the prolonged resolution was a little bit too long but i also think this is one of the most convincing portrayals of 1970 in a period film i’ve ever seen and the archival footage of brazil definitely added to that.  i haven’t seen the substance or wicked but i think fernanda torres really deserves best actress for this one. also, what a great soundtrack — i should really listen to more brazilian music/samba!

  i think my favorite part of the movie was the kid who filmed peter having a meltdown in class, you go kid. also very sad at steve's unfortunate fate.
