Jack Black is actually great with the kids. And while the idea of an impostor subbing at an elementary school unnoticed is a little unnerving, the music education aspect makes up for it. Cute & fun.

Every scene with the Muppets is perfection - can't say the same for the human characters. The Muppets carried more genuine emotion than either Jason Segel or Amy Adams.

I have a soft spot for black and white films AND films about old Hollywood, so I was super excited to see a modern take on a silent b&w.
Loved this. Absolutely classic. Definitely darker and more emotional than I anticipated. The acting was phenomenal. The story was beautifully complete. It didn't feel forced or fake. Beautiful.
